The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today,Friday, June 3, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are expected over the region with chances of localised thunderstorms around Gusau, Kano, Bauchi, Gombe, Sokoto and Yelwa in the late afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures forecast are expected to be in the range of 37 -38oC.
CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected with prospect of localised rains around Makurdi, Lafia and part of Southern Abuja during the morning hours. Localised thunderstorms are likely over the region during the evening/ afternoon periods. Maximum temperatures forecast are expected to be in the range of 33 -34oC.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are anticipated with prospects of localised rain over Calabar, Eket, Ikom, Lagos, Ijebu Ode and Port Harcourt during the morning hours. There are good prospects of thunderstorms over Akure, Oshogbo, Ibadan, Asaba, Enugu, Awka and most parts of Coastal Cities during the afternoon/evening period. Maximum temperatures forecast are expected to be in the range of 32-33oC.
