Rapper Lil Durk has been arrested hours after a raft of hip-hop stars in his crew were rounded up and booked in a homicide investigation.

The 32-year-old, real name Durk Banks, is being held without bond in Broward County Jail after his Florida arrest on Thursday night.

He’s been charged with murder-for-hire and, as of Friday morning, Banks is pending transfer to the US Marshals Office, according to jail records seen by The U.S. Sun.

The news came just hours after five others were arrested in connection to the 2022 murder of rapper Quando Rondo’s 24-year-old cousin Saviay’a Robinson.

Federal charges were filed against Kavon London Grant, Deandre Dontrell Wilson, Keith Jones, David Brian Lindsey, and Asa Houston on Thursday.

All five rappers are affiliated with the group OTF (Only The Family), a Chicago-based crew founded by Banks.

They are accused of targeting Rondo over his suspected involvement in the killing of emerging Chicago rapper King Von in 2020 in Atlanta, WGNTV reports.

The charges mentioned In the indictment, unsealed in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles on Thursday, include conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire and committing murder-for-hire resulting in death.

They also include the use of, carry and discharge of firearms and a machinegun in the furtherance of a crime of violence resulting in death.

Quando Rondo and his pal were in Los Angeles on August 19, 2022, when their vehicle was shot at at a gas station in Beverly Grove neighborhood.

Rondo survived, but his cousin was hit and killed during the attack – believed to have been revenge for the death of Lil Durk’s protégé King Von.

Von was shot and killed by an affiliate of Quando Rondo after a fight in November of 2020.

Thursday’s indictment alleges that two years later, the five suspects offered out money and music opportunities in exchange for Bowman’s murder.

The docs also reportedly allege a credit card was used to fly the defendants out in 2022 to search for Bowman in LA.

Prosecutors said one of the suspects, Kavon London Grant, flew from Miami to LA to provide co-conspirators with guns before renting a white BMW sedan and a white Infiniti which were used to follow Bowman and his family, Metro reports.

The shooting that killed Saviay’a Robinson took place shortly after.

At this point, it’s unclear whether Banks is involved in this killing.

Banks is best known for featuring on Drake’s 2020 track Laugh Now Cry Later.

He has also worked with artists Pooh Shiesty, 21 Savage, DJ Khaled and Travis Scott.
