Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, has commiserated with the Simeon Adebo family over the death of the matriarch of the family, Mrs Regina Abimbola Adebo.
Mrs Adebo died on Sunday, May 22, 2016 – ten days to her 95th birthday, on June 1.
Describing the late Mrs Adebo as “an exemplary woman who lived a positively impactful life,” the Ogun State Governor during a condolence visit to the family on Wednesday in Abeokuta urged the younger generation to emulate her tenacity and sense of purpose.
He described the wife of the former Under Secretary General and Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, UN, Chief Simeon Adebo, as a committed ally of her late husband who died 22 years ago.
The Governor prayed for the repose of the soul of Mrs Adebo.
