The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, May 26, Thursday, 2016.
NORTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected with chances of isolated thunderstorm activities over Kano, Gusau and Katsina during the afternoon/evening period. Maximum temperatures forecast are expected to be in the range of 36 - 38oC.
CENTRAL STATES: We expect isolated rains over northern part of Abuja during the morning hours. Places like Minna, Bida, Lafia, Yola, Mambila Plateau, Makurdi, Lokoja, Jos and Abuja are expected to experience isolated thunderstorms during the afternoon/evening period. Maximum temperatures forecast are likely to be in the range of 29 - 32oC.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected with chances of localised rains over Benin, Port Harcourt, Eket and Calabar during the morning hours. There are prospects of isolated thunderstorms over the entire region during the afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures forecast are expected to be in the range of 32 - 33oC.
