Arsenal goalkeeper, Ranson shared that his father hails from Nigeria, while his mother is from Ghana.

He mentioned his eligibility to play for both the Super Eagles and Black Stars internationally.

Despite being a current England youth international, he has dual nationality ties to both West African nations.

“My mum is from Ghana and my dad is from Nigeria, which leads to a lot of friendly debate about which jollof rice is better!” Ranson recently told Arsenal’s official website.

“Personally I side with Nigerian jollof. I have two younger siblings: a brother and a sister,” he added. (Daily Independent)
