Hajiya Fatima Sani, mother of Shehu Sani, the Senator representing Kaduna Central in the National Assembly, has died at the age of 75, a family source confirmed.
Hajiya Fatima, a member of the royal family of the Borno Kingdom, died at Garden City Hospital around 4pm on Saturday in Kaduna, after a protracted illness. She is survived by five children.
Burial arrangement is ongoing according to Islamic rites.
Among the first to send their condolences to Senator Shehu Sani was Deputy Senate Leader Bala Ibn Na’Allah, who prayed Allah to grant her eternal rest and the family as well as the people of Kaduna the fortitude to bare the loss.
