Singer Olumabusidele Adeeko
Olumabusidele Adeeko, popularly known as Sensational Bamidele, revealed that the car accident he was involved in two years ago made his shift from singing for politicians to gospel music.
He disclosed this on Wednesday during an interview with Channels Television’s Morning Brief.
“After some time when, I had a little challenge last two years. I decided to leave most of this political singing and face ministry. I went back to restrategise my artistry, I decided to stay away from campaigns, political rallies and all of that and I did.”
According to the Adeeko, he has stopped singing praise songs for politicians and is now committed to gospel ministry.
“For a very long time I’ve not been doing that, I’m not saying it’s a bad one, but I had to give myself that space. I am a praise singer and I go to churches. Speaking on his time as a political singer, he explained that he sang based on the happenings in the society,” he said.
The gospel artist expressed his displeasure at the traction that the news of his incident received, noting that it garnered more attention than he has received for positive cause.
When that incident occurred I somersaulted over 9 times, we lost 3 lives but those in my cars were alive, then people knew that this was God’s son. (Channels TV)
