The football community is in great sadness as a result of the tragic car accident that cut short the dreamsof a young Nigerian player.

Talented striker , Paul Julius, had joined ENP with the intention of making a significant impact on the Cypriot football landscap only three weeks prior to the car accident.

Enosis Neon Paralimni FC released a heartfelt statement expressing their deep sadness at the passing of their player, who had overcome adversity to exhibit incredible fortitude and tenacity in his brief life.

It is with deep sadness and pain that we express our sincere condolences on the unexpected loss of our footballer Paul Julius, the clubs statement read.

The tragic news of his death has shocked us all. Despite the hardships and sufferings he faced to join our family, he remained steadfast and determined to fulfill his goals. His memory will live on in our hearts, and his absence will be felt. We are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time. May he rest in peace.

Several Greek teams have sent their sympathies, as the football community has quickly come together in solidarity.

APOEL FOOTBALL (PODOSFAIRO) LTD expresses its deepest condolences to the family of ENP and the relatives of football player Paul Julius who was killed in a car accident this morning. He was only 20 years old¦His memory is eternal, the club wrote.

The president, board of directors, and employees of AEL Limassol, a significant Cypriot club, also expressed their deepest sympathies to Juliuss family and the ENP community.
