Soso Soberekon, a Nigerian music executive, has lost a $10,000 bet with musician Zlatan Ibile after Spain defeated England in the UEFA Euro 2024 final on Sunday night.

In a video uploaded on the singers Instagram, Soberekon and Zlatan were seen wagering $10,000 apiece on England and Spain.

But it was Zlatan who won the bet as Spain overcame England 2-1 to win a record fourth UEFA European Championship.

Nico Willaims put Spain ahead two minutes into the second half.

Englands substitute Cole Palmer leveled in the 73rdminute, but Spains Mikel Oyarzabal scored in the 86thminute to secure a well-deserved win.

Following the games conclusion, Soso Soberekon shared a sobbing emoji on his Instagram story. (Daily Sun)
