Imo Govt. seeks information on movement of Fulani herdsmen

The Imo State Government has sent out an appeal for prompt information regarding the movement of a large group of Fulani herdsmen in any part of the state.

A Public Notice issued this morning in Owerri and signed by Hon Faisal Lawal, Special Assistant to Governor Rochas Okorocha on Northern Affairs, says: “The public is hereby requested to report cases of large movement of Fulani herdsmen in any part of Imo state to security agents or the leadership of Fulani here in Owerri through my office.

“Let’s be vigilant and watchful because perpetrators of evils normally come in different forms.”
