President Muhammadu Buhari has returned the 2016 Budget to the National Assembly.
House of Representatives spokesman, Rep. Abdulrazak Namdas, confirmed this development to journalists yesterday in Abuja, saying: “I can confirm to you now that we are in possession of the letter from the president and trying to identifying grey areas.”
According to Namdas, “As soon as possible, the leadership of the House would meet with that of the Senate on the matter, and do what is necessary.”
He added that both chambers of the National Assembly would work on the grey areas pointed out by President Buahri at the same time “in order not to prolong the signing of the budget again, in the interest of Nigerians.”
Namdas assured that the “grey areas” would be made known to Nigerians at the proper time.
