The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today,Saturday, April 2, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: Moderate dust haze is expected over the entire region though Horizontal visibilities may likely be less than 2000m over Zaria, Katsina and Dutse. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23-30oC.
CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy conditions are anticipated over the region with prospects of isolated thunderstorms over cities such as Abuja, Lokoja, Lafia, Minna, Bida, Ilorin, Makurdi, Ibi, Jalingo and the Mambilla axis during the afternoon/evening hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 21 -27oC.
SOUTHERN STATES: There are prospects of morning thunderstorms over the coast of the southeast and places like Owerri and Aba in the morning while there are chances of isolated thunderstorms over the inland cities and some parts of the coastal areas. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 24-27oC.
