Vote for fresh hands if you desire result, PPA leader urges Anambra Central

The leader of Anambra State Chapter of the Progressive Peoples’ Alliance (PPA), Mr Godwin Ezeemo, has called on voters in the Central Senatorial District to embark on a hunt for fresh hands, in other to get the desired result, even as he admonished them to shun those he described as old politicians who have been tried in various offices in the past.

Mr Ezeemo who stated this during an interactive session with journalists in his country home, Umuchu, Aguata Local Government Area of the state, noted that most of the politicians seeking to represent the people of Anambra central in the postponed rerun election had all been tested in public offices before and should, therefore, give way to new and fresh hands.

The PPA governorship candidate during the last election in the state insisted that those angling to represent the zone on the platform of the ruling and opposition parties in the state had had their chances, saying that PPA has positioned itself with a creditable candidate that can adequately represent the zone and the state in the Senate.

According to him, PPA has a very credible candidate in the person of Chief Mike Igwilo, whom he said boasts better background than candidates from the other parties.

His words: “What I am telling the people of Anambra central is that they know the other candidates and they cannot be adjudged to have done too well. So, it is time for them to try a new person. In PPA, we believe that seeking political office is to go and work for the people and so we do not share money. People must know what they want and go for it. We have presented Igwilo to the people of the zone; if they need someone who can deliver, then they should send him.”
