Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State has flagged off the construction of the first flyover in Ekiti State.
Speaking at the ceremony on Tuesday, Governor Fayose explained that the flyover, which is going to be about two kilometers, would cost the State Government over 7 billion Naira.
The Governor, who flagged off the flyover in Ado Ekiti, the capital of Ekiti State, also assured the people of adequate supervision of the project as well as availability of fund.
The contractor handling the project, Paul Chamoun, has promised to complete the project within 18 months.
Governor Fayose conducted the flag-off along with his Deputy, Kolapo Olusola and other top government officials.
Traditional rulers as well as some party supporters also graced at the event. (Channels TV)
