
An Army Colonel, Samaila Inusa, serving with Nigeria Army School of Infantry, Jaji, Kaduna State, has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
Deputy Director, Army Public Relations, Colonel Usman Abdul, confirmed the development in a statement issued in Kaduna on Sunday.
He said the Colonel Inusa was abducted around Kamazo near NNPC junction, Kaduna, around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
“The abductors dropped off his wife and left with him in his car and headed towards Abuja. They drove in a Mercedes Benz GK black colour with registration number Abuja, KUJ 154 TZ,” Col. Abdul said.
The Army requested anybody with useful information that could lead to the rescue of the abducted officer to call the following numbers:
