Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has congratulated the Super Eagles of Nigeria for making the country proud through their victory against South Africas Bafana Bafana on Wednesday.

Speaking earlier today via a statement by his Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, Soludo described the tension soaked match that went into extra time and ended in penalty shoot as dramatic and scintillating.

While commending the fighting spirit and tactical discipline of Super Eagles, the governor added that the team has once again exhibited the resilience and never-say-die spirit of Nigerians.

He urged them to go all out in the final to win the coveted trophy for the nation.

Governor Soludo has consistently supported the Nigerian national team right from the onset of the AFCON tournament and has promised to do so till the ultimate victory is achieved.
