Super Eagles striker Osimhen
Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, has reportedly been cleared by the teams medical staff for Wednesdays semi-final clash against South Africa.
The Super Eagles travelled on Monday evening from Abidjan to Bouaké without star striker Victor Osimhen as a result of abdominal discomfort.
The teams media officer, Babafemi Raji, who confirmed the incident, said the team doctors had placed him under close watch with a member of the medical team staying behind in Abidjan with him.
According to sources in Abidjan, Victor will join his teammates in Bouake after being declared fit and is expected to feature in the game.
The Napoli striker has been an important part of the Eagles superb AFCONrun so far starting all five matches in Côte dIvoire, scoring one goal and setting up Ademola Lookman against Cameroon. (The Nation)
