It will be a day of sunshine, thunderstorm , clouds and showers: NiMET

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Sunday, March 20, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny conditions are expected in most Cities like Kano, Katsina, Nguru, Gusau, Damaturu, and Sokoto while prospects of localised thunderstorm are expected over the Yelwa axis in the morning. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23-28oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy conditions are anticipated with prospects of localised thunderstorm over the high ground in the morning hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 19 -25oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected with prospects of localised showers over places like Calabar, Owerri and Eket in the morning hours. Localised thunderstorms are anticipated over Akure, Ilorin, Oshogbo, Jalingo, Makurdi including some parts of the coast. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 20-25oC.
