The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Saturday, March 19, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny conditions are expected over the region while increased cloudiness is anticipated over Yelwa and Gusau axis. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23-29oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are anticipated with prospects of localised thunderstorms over Jos, Abuja, Lafia, Makurdi and Lokoja during the afternoon/evening period. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 22-28oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected with chances of thunderstorms over Calabar, Eket, Ikom and Ogoja during the morning hours. There are prospects of Localised thunderstorms in places such as Akure, Oshogbo, Shaki, Enugu, and Owerri including the coastal areas, like Port Harcourt, Eket, Yenagoa and Calabar in the afternoon/evening hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23-27oC.
