The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Tuesday, March 8, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny condition is expected over Kano, Katsina, Nguru, Gusau, Maiduguri and Gombe. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 19-27oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy condition is anticipated with chances of localised thunderstorms over Jos, Abuja Lokoja and Makurdi during the early hours in the morning, also localised thunderstorms are not unlikely over some places in the afore-mentioned region during evening/night hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 22 -27oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: Localised thundery showers are expected in few places over the southern region like Akure, Oshogbo, Enugu, including coastal areas like Port Harcourt, Calabar, Lagos, Eket and environs in the morning. It is not unlikely that few areas along the coast may have some rains in the afternoon. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 20-25oC.
