The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Monday, March 7, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny conditions are expected during the forecast period. Cities like Kano, Katsina, Yelwa and Maiduguri may expect hazy conditions in the morning hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range, 22-25oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy conditions are expected with prospects of isolated thunderstorms over southern Kaduna, southern Jos, Abuja and Lafia during evening/night hours of the forecast period.Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range, 22 -26oC.

SOUTHERN STATES:Cloudy conditions are expected with prospects of localised thunderstorms over Akure, Ibadan, Abeokuta, Mambila plateau, Obudu, Ikom, Calabar, Eket and Port Harcourt during the afternoon/evening period. There are slim chances of localised rain showers over Lagos axis in the evening hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range, 24-26oC
