New Anambra-owned Solution FC makes winning in Nigeria National League

NNL debutants Solution FC of Anambra

Solution FC, the newly formed Anambra Football Club on Saturday defeated Tradesafe FC of Lagos state by 1-0 in their first Nigeria National League (NNL) match.

Solution FC is the first club to be owned by the present Anambra since it was created in 1991.

Chinedu Ozobialu scored the only goal of the match to make history as the player to score the first competitive goal for the club and hand them their first victory.

Uche Okagbue, coach of Solution FC said the win was a sweet victory.

Okagbue commended the players for their doggedness but noted that the team was work in progress with large room for improvement.

Patrick-Estate Onyedum, Chairman of Anambra State Sports Development Commission, who watched the game dedicated the victory the Gov. Chukwuma Soludo.

Onyedum thanked the governor for handing Anambra people their first football club and having confidence in the ability of the team to deliver. (NAN)
