Umeh promises even development if elected Senator for Anambra Central

The senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the forthcoming re-run election for Anambra central senatorial zone, Chief Victor Umeh, has reiterated his resolve to work hands in glove with the State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano to develop the state if elected.

He gave the assurance during a recent his visit to Njikoka Local Government Area in continuation of his campaign tour of the various local governments in the zone.

Addressing party faithful, Umeh observed that Governor Obiano has not only redefined governance but has also increased the tempo of development in all sectors of the state economy regardless of the harsh economic condition experienced in the country.

He told party supporters in the area that he came to thank them for their total support of the party since inception.

“This council area has been voting for APGA since the formation of the party and I am optimistic that they will again live up to expectation by voting for me come March 5th, 2016,” he said.

Responding, the member representing Njikoka 11 Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Dr Pete Ibida, assured Chief Umeh of their votes, describing him as a pragmatic Igbo leader who will champion the cause of Ndigbo in the National Assembly.
