The Rivers State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is set for its Thanksgiving and Victory Celebrations scheduled to hold on Saturday February 27, 2016 at the Yakubu Gowon, former Liberation Stadium, Elekahia, Port Harcourt.
The State Party Chairman, Bro. Felix Obuah, said this afternoon that the sermon at the thanksgiving service, which commences 9am, would be delivered by the Presiding Pastor, Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie.
He said in a statement issued in Port Harcourt by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Jerry Needam: “The victory celebrations to mark the success of the Rivers State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic (PDP) as confirmed by the Supreme Court of Nigeria would have in attendance His Excellency, the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON, PDP State Governors and their Deputies, PDP State and National lawmakers, National and State leadership of the PDP, all members of the Peoples Democratic Party, teeming supporters, Rivers people, religious and traditional leaders and the public.”
Bro Obuah, appealed “to all Rivers people to join the party and thank God and celebrate the victory of the party at the Supreme Court.”
