Today, we would be concluding theSHOWBIZ Xtraseven top Nigerian music packagers which we started last week. Now, welcome to the rest of the four which we are showcasing this week. Step out to be applauded, Shizzi, Mastercraft, Sarz and Maleek Berry.
SHIZZI
This unique music packager, whose talent has, at last, really placed himin the front row of new age producers, has since proved that he is not a fluke in the concern after all. This, he may have stamped tacitly in his standard content productions when those in the know started to applaud him for years over his consistency and standard. His wonderful packaging of Davido's two hit singles, namely "Gone" and "Skelewu" in 2013 obviously set him apart from colleagues. This feat appeared to have grabbed the attention of May D, leading to his first celebrated single and few other celebrity acts whose works he actually put his productions' golden seal on them.He topped these with the solid packaging of Whizkid's "Body" off the EME All Star album.
MASTERCRAFT
This young man's productions zoomed into focus in 2012, when he packaged big songs, for both his local and international fans. One of those songs include "Fine Lady" by smooth Lynxxx, showcasing Whizkid, "Kwokirikwo" remix by smooth-voiced act, Flavour, which featured him and Fally Ipupa in the production. It was simply such a runaway success affair, well depicted in the massive applause generated by die-hard music followers. Interestingly, Mastercraft sustained this standing ovation in Bracket's "Girl which paraded top act, Whizkid, on collabo level. He beefed up this fine production with Flavours "Chinny Baby" and a number of other good songs off the EME albums.
SARZ
This highly gifted packager looks like every music followers' and watchers' favourite producer, from all strong indications.Had it been that sheer sentiments was excused to hold away in placing the producers on parade, nobody would have been shocked if Mastercraft's name topped others. Some who strongly believe in his ability would have pushed his name to the top most position due to the fact that he packaged the productions of most superstars like Whizkid and other top stars. It is on good source that he produced successfully, Whizkid's "Jaiye-Jaiye" and bunch of ElDees albums. Aside from packaging the songs of thesesuperstars,he has his own successive singles, including "Beat of life" (Samba) which actually ruled the airwaves and clubs circuit for years.
MALEEK BERRY
Before he took the center stage after years of conscientious hard work and creativity, music watchers were really dancing and enjoying his productions without knowing that he was the masquerade behind the curtains. With special spotlights on his beats and instrumentals which he crafted well on Sinzu's Carolina, showcasing Davido, was an apparent huge tune in party circles and on the radio too. Shortly after the success of Carolina, Whizkid got closer to the British-raised producer and signed him on his Star boy Entertainment imprint. But before that signing on, Berry got Whizkid to showcase on his single, "The Matter." In that packaging, Berry really passed the critics' expectations in this Whizkid's subtle love song "Lagos to Soweto.
