NORTHERN STATES: Cities around the North such as Maiduguri, Kano, Sokoto, Katsina and Yola will have moderate dust haze which may keep their visibility within 2-5km. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 9- 15oC.
CENTRAL STATES: Abuja, Bida, Makurdi, Ilorin and Kaduna will experience moderate dust haze conditions in visibility range of 2-5km. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 13 -20oC.
SOUTHERN STATES: Inland areas of the south are likely to be affected by dust haze conditions in moderate visibility while partly cloudy skies are expected over coastal locations such as Lagos, Port Harcourt, Calabar and Yenagoa. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 14-26oC.
NOTE: During this period of the year, the atmosphere is usually very dry, windy and dusty. Citizens should avoid substances that may ignite easily to reduce incidences of fire outbreaks. Flight operations may be disrupted due to poor visibility in some airports across the country.
