Former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, has charged the Federal Government to rebrand agriculture as ‘agribusiness’ so as to make it attractive to youths so they engage in it for a sustainable economic growth, especially with the current dwindling of crude oil price in the international market.
Obasanjo, who stated this yesterday on his Tweeter handle, noted: “With the continual dwindling price of oil, agriculture needs to be rebranded to attract youths and hence, help to boost our economy,” adding: “The drop in oil price will give us an opportunity to diversify the economy. This could be a blessing; good things do not come without pain.”
