Biafra Youth warns against military action, threatens to take up arms

The Biafra Nations Youth League has expressed displeasure over what it called “the continuous killing of Biafra activists and invasion of Riverine communities by Nigerian soldiers.”

A statement signed by the League’s Public Relations Officer, Aghaulor Godspower,

Quoted the National President, Comrade Prince Chimezie Obuka, as saying: “It’s now clear to the world that Biafra indigenous people are President Muhammadu Buhari’s major target, but he fail. I will continue to say it that no amount of intimidation will stop Biafra independence; this is not 1967.

“I want to make it clear that if he continues to use military action against us, after our forthcoming Congress in Ikom we will go on self defence as we will be left with no other option than to pick arms.”
