Those who think that death could silence the former Lady of Songs, late Christy Essien Igbokwe, for life will be stunned as her 10 year-old granddaughter, Christiana Chizaramekpele Igbokwe, makes a grand entry with her granny’s all-time hit single, “Seun Rere” which she recently followed with another song, “She is a woman.”

The highly nostalgic numbers made popular by Christy Essien Igbokwe (MFR) back in the days are really an energy sapping vocals which transport the audience into a bottomless barrel of musical ear candy, with her creativity and traditional music-making effort.

With this strong indication, she is undoubtedly cut-out for the business, bound to take her beyond the level her late grandmother attained before death stopped her.

These pieces of artistic works, packaged by her father, Kaka Igbokwe, who happens to be the second son of the top-notch Media Manager, Chief Edwin Igbokwe, no doubt, grabbed their creativity, time, energy and capital in making the potential hits possible.

Interestingly, the 10 year-old girl spots the typical voice texture of her late grandmother’s rendition which was actually her trade mark as a singer. This was well laced with the little girl’s natural and childhood vibrancy, given the works in focus, a distinctive slant and appeal.
