Thumb-printing of ballot papers is currently going on at a hotel in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa capital, LEADERSHIP has reported.
It gave the name of the hotel as Hoil Suite.
The paper said although it is not clear which of the political parties is behind the rigging scheme, “but report has it that the hotel is owned by a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.”
Bayelsans are going to the polls today to elect a new governor, with incumbent Seriake Dickson of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and his predecessor Timipre Sylva of APC as frontrunners.
