The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the FCT, has put in place periodic update of the Continuous Voter’s Register (CVR) before a given election.
Prof. Jacob Jatau, Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in the FCT, made the disclosure in a release signed by him and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), on Tuesday in Abuja.
He said that the date for the update of would be fixed by the commission.
He solicited the support of the media in disseminating accurate voter education messages and information in order to consolidate democracy in Nigeria. (NAN)
