Operatives of the Department of State Service (DSS) laid siege to the Asokoro Abuja residence immediate past National Security Adviser (NSA), Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd.), effectively restricting his movement.
The surprise action comes barely 24 hours after the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja ordered the release of Dasuki’s international passport to enable him travel abroad for medical treatment.
The DSS siege is believed to be aimed at stopping the trip by the former NSA, who is standing trial for alleged illegal possession of firearms, among other charges.
