UNILAG honours Obiano, Osinbajo, Udom Emmanuel, Dankwambo and Chukwu

The Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano, is among the five distinguished alumni of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) scheduled to be honoured in a special Awards and Recognition Dinner that will take place later this evening at the Multi-purpose Hall of the institution.

Obiano graduated from UNILAG with a Second Class Upper Division in Accounting and followed it up with an MBA in Marketing from the same university.

UNILAG in a letter signed by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Rahman A Bello, explained that the honour is for its “eminent and worthy Alumni who have distinguished themselves and are currently holding executive political offices in various states.”

Also on the honours list is Nigeria’s Vice President, Prof.Yemi Osinbajo. Other honourees are governors Udom Gabriel Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State and Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo of Gombe State, as well as Ude Oko Chukwu, deputy governor of Abia State – all alumni of the university.
