Guber Tribunal: Rivers PDP Chairman hails solidarity for Wike, berates APC, Princewill

Chairman of the Rivers State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bro Felix Obuah has applauded members of the Party, Rivers people and members of the opposition political parties in the state for their show of solidarity with Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike on his arrival at the Port Harcourt International Airport, last Saturday, October 24, as well as the Thanksgiving Service/Rally in support of the Governor Sunday, October 25 at the Obi Wali International Conference Center, Port Harcourt respectively.

The PDP Chairman said in a press statement in Port Harcourt by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Jerry Needam, that the unison in Rivers people to secure the mandate overwhelmingly given to Governor Wike against the common enemies of the State, as exemplified by the mammoth crowd that cut across all political divide, that came out to show solidarity with the Governor is heartwarming.

Bro Obuah while urging them to continue to support and identify with Governor Nyesom Wike, assured them that the PDP would religiously guard the mandate Rivers people faithfully and overwhelmingly gave to the Governor.

He urged Rivers people to continue to remain calm and peaceful in the face of the gang-up by Rotimi Amaechi and the All Progressives Congress (APC) led-federal government against Governor Wike who has demonstrated unequalled courage and capability to reposition the State.

Bro Obuah who reaffirmed the resolve of the PDP and Governor Wike to appeal against the judgment, also took a swipe at the APC and Mr Tonye Princewill of the Labour Party for begging Governor Wike and the PDP not to appeal against the judgment.

He said their separate pleas with the Governor and the PDP not to appeal against the compromised judgment have clearly exposed not only their warped mentality but also those behind how the contraption called judgment and how it was gotten through the back door.
