soludo constitutes all-female anambra education board

The Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, on Thursday appointed Dr. Mrs Vera Nkiru Nwadinobi as the Chairperson/Chief Executive Officer of the newly constituted Board of Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board (ASUBEB).
Members of the all-female Board include Mrs Ifeyinwa Rose Anatune, Dr Mrs Kanayo Chukwurah and Mrs Theresa Chinyere Azodo.Mrs June Ndidi Odegbo, ex-Officio Anambra North and Mrs Agnes Ifeoma Obi, ex-Officio Anambra South.
Others are Mrs Agatha Marcellus Ajuora, ex-officio Anambra Central, Mrs Fidelia Agbaizu, ex-officio Ministry of Education, Comrade Mrs Chibueze Nonye Cecilia (JP) NUT, Mrs Theresa Udemezue Okoye (Women Group) Dame (Mrs) Chinyere Mbakwe (Private School Owners) Mrs Uche Egbusi representing (PTA), Dr Uchenna Ezeani, and Mrs Ebele Mgbemena (Secretary).
According to the press release by the Commissioner for Information, Paul Nwosu, the Board will be inaugurated on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 by 10am at the Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia.
Meanwhile, the governor had also appointed Prof Ikediugwu as the Chairperson of the Post-Primary Schools Service Commission (PPSSC) while Dr (Mrs) Nkiru Naomi Chigozie Obianika will serve as the Deputy Chairperson of the PPSSC.
Mrs Ngozi Benedine Anagor was named the Secretary of the Commission.
