Nigerian separatist Nnamdi Kanu, whose pirate Radio Biafra has for months given Nigerian authorities sleepless nights, fell into the net of the Department of State Services (DSS) yesterday in Lagos and was taken into custody in the former Nigerian capital.
A tweet late last night from the official handle @radiobiafralive said: “Breaking News! Director Nnamdi Kanu Kidnapped & Detained by the DSS!”
Another message upoalded by one of Kalu’s men on the official Facebook page Radio Biafra London said: “The islamic terorist nigeria police by the order of ª#Buhari has kidnapped the leader of the Indigenous People of ª#BIAFRA (I.P.O.B.) Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Biafra restoration and sovereignty is at hand. World leaders should act fast or there wil be tsunami. I hereby urge all ª#BIFRANS to remain resolute because this is the time to redouble our efforts. We all know what director expects of us to do. The journey has just began and we urge the International Community, Human Rights Organizations to stand up to their responsibilities. ChukwuOkike Abiam is with him and with us in this struggle.

Mazi Kanu was said to have been nabbed as he arrived Nigeria from his London base. Nigeria’s secret police, the DSS, has yet to coment on the development.
