Katsina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari, has called on the Nigerian Army to intensify and put an end to the incessant killings by the Fulani cattle rustlers.

The governor made this call while receiving the Commanding Officer GOC 1 Division Kaduna, Major General Adeniyi Oyebade, in his office.

The governor said the menace of the cattle herdsmen has to be defeated, along the deadline given by the President, for the Army to defeat the Boko Haram insurgency.

In response, Major General Oyebade said that the Army will do all they can to see the end of the killings and destruction caused by the Fulani herdsmen.

Major Oyebade also promised the people of Katsina of the Army’s cooperation in fighting against terror and incessant killings.
