Today's weather forecast, By the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET)

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Thursday, September 24, 2015:

SOUTHERN STATES

COASTAL AREAS: In the morning hours, Cloudy conditions are expected in the western coast while rains are expected in the eastern part of the coast in the same hours. Rains are expected over the region in the afternoon hours.

INLAND AREAS: Cloudy conditions are expected in the morning hours over the region while afternoon/evening hours hold prospects of localised rain.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected in the region with chances of thunderstorms over Abuja, Lafia, Jos, Makurdi, Bauchi and Minna during the morning hours. There are also prospects of localised thunderstorms over the area during the afternoon/evening hours.

NORTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected over the area in the morning hours while in the afternoon hours, there are prospects of localised thunderstorms.
