Secretary to the Government of Imo State (SGI), Sir Jude Ejiogu, has congratulated Governor Rochas Okorocha on the occasion of his 53rd birthday, yesterday, describing it as a bumper harvest of milestone.
In a congratulatory message signed by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr. Ikenna Onuoha, and made available to newsmen in Owerri, Sir Ejiogu described the Governor as a man with large heart whose primary objective is how to give comfort to the indigent people, maintaining that his fifty three years on earth is marked with testimonies of giant strides.
The SGI maintained that Imo people will always remain proud to have a person like him as Governor, saying that he has transformed the state’s landscape along with many lives through his unassailable vision and philanthropy.
According to Sir Ejiogu, Governor Okorocha has brought succor to the less privileged and above all, has shown Imo people what difference there is when the righteous is on the throne
He therefore urged Imo people not to forget so soon that the Governor has touched lives beyond the State, which he said won him uncountable laurels as the first human being on earth with thousands of children in his care.
Sir Ejiogu further appealed to the good people of the state to continue to pray for the Governor and his family in their quest to launch Imo State and by extension, the Igbo nation to the political firmament of Nigerian politics, while praying God to bless and grant him a robust health for the years ahead.
