Sixteen people have been killed in a bomb attack in Monguno council area of Borno State.
The attack and number of casualties were confirmed by the State Governor, Alhaji Kashim Shettima.
“Shettima is dismayed by recent bomb attacks in the state in which more than 60 people have died,” according to a Channels TV report. “He said that those injured in Monguno would be evacuated to the capital city.”
