Only survivor of Lagos fire that claimed 7 family members dies in hospital

The only survivor of the tragic Wednesday fire incident that occurred around Lawanson area in Lagos State has died in the hospital.

According to the Assistant Coordinator of Burns and Trauma Centre Lasuth Annex in Gbagada, Dr Ajibola Ishola, Chidinma was brought in around 2:35 a.m. on Wednesday unconscious with 17 per cent burns.

She eventually gave up the ghost around 6am today due to complications from the burns and injuries sustained from flame inhalation.

Chidinma’s death comes barely 24 hours after seven of her family members were burnt beyond recognition in an inferno that engulfed their home. (Channels TV)
