Chaplain dismisses reports on closure of Aso Villa Chapel

Contrary to reports in some media (News Expressnot included), the Aso Villa Chapel in the Nigerian seat of power in Abuja was never at any time either closed down or ordered to be shut by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Chaplain of the Chapel, Pastor Oluseyi Malomo, disclosed this yesterday while addressing newsmen outside the chapel.

News Expressreports that normal church service was held yesterday at the chapel, after which Pastor Malomo fielded questions from newshounds, outrightly dismissing rumours of the purported closure of the chapel.
