We take away your problems, leaving you happier –Johnny Rockets boss

It’s been three months since Johnny Rockets, an American international restaurant chain, started operations in Nigeria. Customers are promised that anytime they come in with their headaches and problems, they leave happier.

“Whether it is because you eat great food or you saw nice dancing or the waiters smile and everyone was warmwith you, it is not just bellefulling and leaving; it’s actually about having an experience and leaving you happier than you came,” Christopher Nahman, Managing Director of Johnny Rockets in Nigeria, told News Express.

Nahman, whose father was born in Ibadan, Oyo State of Nigeria, in 1966 and who has lived all his life in Nigeria, said: “As an American-Nigerian, I’m not in the hospitality industry to make as much money possible as quickly as possible to buy houses in Los Angelis but to make a name for myself. I want to show others what we are capable of doing, especially people who said there’s no way it could be achieved in Nigeria. It can be done with the right people, putting the right work towards the same common goal.”

According to Nahman, he’s now so much part of the Nigerian society that he figured it’s time to bridge the gap between America and Nigeria in whatever small he can by “bringing America here where they (Americans) otherwise wouldn’t be able to get into this market,” adding: “This was the first of many businesses we are trying to bring the gap between America, Europe and Nigeria because we feel like we are in a great position to do that.”

Due to his love for Nigeria, the gentle, easy going entrepreneur can’t wait to raise his family in the country. Hear him: “Growing up in Nigeria opened my mind to so many different cultures, lessons etc. that’s was one of the biggest advantage and it open my eyes to different beautiful things about life. I’mgoing to raise my kids here for sure; that is how you know that I’m grateful for that.”
