BREAKING NEWS: Labaran Maku emerges APGA National Secretary APGA •Ikechukwu is new Chairman

Former Minister of Information, Mr. Labaran Maku, has emerged as the new National Secretary of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). Maku was the party’s governorship candidate in Nasarawa State during the April 11 elections. After leaving the then ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to protect the injustice meted to him during the party primaries.

A dark horse, Dr. Victor Ikechukwu Oye, emerged as the new National Chairman of the party during elective National Convention currently holding at Women Development Centre in Awka, the Anambra State capital. Oye, an Anambra indigene and former Special Adviser on Special Duties to ex-Abia State Governor, Dr. Orji Uzor-Kalu, Oye succeeds Chief Victor Umeh, who chaired APGA for about a decade after taking over form the party's founding chairman, Chief Chekwas Okorie.

Dr. Ifeatu Okoye was voted National Publicity Secretary, Chuks Nwoga National Youth Leader and Obiagu Amaka Ezinne National Women Leader.
