Governor of Imo State and Chairman of the APC Governors Forum, Rocha Okorocha for the first time since the general elections,led the Governors elected under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the President-elect Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.)

The Governors discussed the poor revenue of the states and lamented their inability to pay salaries for civil servants.

They also reviewed the security situation in the country and provided an insight into the vast challenges facing the incoming government.

Okorocha painted a gloomy picture of the current economic crisis in the country.

He said the government of Gen. Buhari is coming at a time when the treasure of the nation is almost empty.

The Governors-elect present at the meeting included Rochas Okorocha (Imo state), Mallam El-Rufai (Kaduna), Al-Makura (Nasarawa), Kashim Shettima (Borno state), Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto State) and Rauf Aregbesola (Osun State), among others.
