The All Progressives Congress (APC) has swept the polls in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area of Edo State. It is the local government of some prominent APC government officials such as Commissioner of Works Osarodion Ogie and Oil and Gas Commissioner Victor Ekhator.
APC supporters celebrated in Ikpoba Okha as counted results showed the party’s Henry Okhuarobo in a clear lead to become the local government’s representative in the Edo House of Assembly.
Henry Okhuarobo brushed aside Nicholas Asonsere of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
There was no governorship election in the state as Governor Adams Oshiomhole is yet to serve out his term.
