Nollywood star Desmond Olusola Elliot has emerged one of the early winners of yesterday’s House of Assembly elections held across the country.

Desmond Elliot, who contested the Surulere Constituency at the Lagos State House of Assembly on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) says he beat his closest rival Bayo Smith of the of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
