A mystery fire has consumed the Kano State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Alhaji Abdullahi Minkaila, and his family.
A report from Kano says Alhaji Minkaila, who conducted last weekend’s presidential and national Assembly polls in the north-west state, was last night burnt along with his wife and two daughters after fire engulfed their residence.
All four died this morning at the Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital, Kano, to which they were rushed.
