All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.) has added two more states to Osun, in which he was earlier declared winner, as he has been confirmed the victor in Oyo and Jigawa.
In Oyo, the State Collation Officer of the Presidential Election, Prof. Ayobami Salami, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic), Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), declared Buhari winner with 528,620 votes against 303,376 polled by his main rival, President Goodluck Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who came second.
In Jigawa, the returning officer, Prof. James Ayatsa, Vice Chancellor of Federal University Katsina, declared Buhari victorious with 885,988 votes as against 143,904 votes garnered by Jonathan.
