A gang of suspected kidnappers, yesterday, abducted the Provost of College of Education, Katsina-Ala, Benue State, Dr. Hens Senwuan, at his residence.

National Mirror learnt that Dr. Senwuan’s residence was invaded by the gunmen at about 10pm, as the security man was overpowered and tied up.

Consequently, they moved to the private room of their target and ordered him to follow them at gunpoint, taking along with them his official vehicle, which was later abandoned.

Speaking on the development, Divisional Police Officer in charge of the area, Daniel Ezeala, a Superintendent of Police, said the gunmen forcefully had their way into the compound and abducted him to unknown destination.
